Join us for the world premiere of “The Dark Side”, a 47-minute film documenting Carlo Traversi’s more than decade long quest to push the limits of bouldering in Yosemite Valley. Driven by interviews with some of the leading pioneers of bouldering in the Valley, this film takes a deep dive into the history of bouldering beneath the storied monoliths, intertwined with Carlo’s pursuit to become a master of the granite tech, and culminating with the First Ascent of The Dark Side V16, currently Yosemite’s hardest boulder.

The gym will close at 8:00pm to kick off this event, with the film starting promptly following.

Carlo will be in attendance at this showing and will be hosting a Q&A after the film.
